Landmines can be identified using low-cost, uncooled InfraRed cameras, which leverage temperature differences between the mines and the surrounding ground under the right conditions.
Synthetic image generation for AI training
FUSION (Framework for Unified Synthetic Image generatiON) creates synthetic visual and thermal images to train AI when real-world data is scarce, costly, or hard to capture. By providing realistic and diverse datasets, it reduces dependence on expensive field collection and accelerates AI development in computer vision and thermal imaging.
